I have both free versions of avg and malwarebytes, do they get in each other’s way? and also does it protect if i use firefox? or goggle crome.
I think This also CLOSES DOWN YOUR WINDOWS FIREWALL and will constant pop up with “Your computer is infected” or “Your computer is at high risk, download Antivirus 10 to improve your security” so DO NOT DOWNLOAD THIS FUCKING SHIT.I SWEAR TO GOD IT’S ALL FUCKING BULLSHIT.
Installing this will automaticly install a malicious program on ur program files called “Antivirus 10″ which basically lets the IP adress sharing the downloaded file u downloaded access your computer and fuck it up BIGTIME, i had that happen to me before tyvm virus making fuckfaces
AVG got me infected so many times..
Its a nice little program though.

i went for AVG 9.0 but i cant see the icon. and its not in my program files.
I think i hear a lot of bad comments about 8.5 avg (plz give advice if i should keep it or install a different anti-virus. please reply)

I think This is what everyone is missing, the new AVG 9.0 NOW is possible to fight against rootkits, on my pc i have adaware and avg running at the same time, adaware is a anti-rootkit and avg is obviously anti-virus and my pc is better then evar!

both the free editions dont remove but can detecy rootkits. internet security versions can. thats why i have avg internet security 9.0

The new AVG Antivirus is AVG 9.0 and the reason your rootkit couldnt be removed is because the basic free edition doesnt remove rootkits. That is why is better to get internet security version which costs money. Even internet security 8.5 has rootkit not free edition. And the new AVG 9 doesnt make your pc slow like sophos and is much better at detection.
I used to use this until I heard that avast was alot better. Anyone confirm/deny my choice?

yeah im just saying dont expect too much from it, if its free it is for a reason. it doesnt suck 100 percent so i take it back lol its just not as good as the kind you pay for

I’m just thankful that I haven’t totally screwed my computer for a year.
avira is pretty good, never had avast though. but the way i look at it everything you dont pay for is gonna suck thats why avg trial sucked, ill buy the full version of avira
Lol. McAfee and Norton have OK detection rates, get Avira and Avast if anything.
AVG can’t detect password_viewer.exe, that’s why im looking for new av right now.
AVG link scanner also makes firefox crash.
