i use avast! u3 edition and mcafee virusscan usb for protection on my USB

I think kaspersky’s firewall is best…but avira’s detection rate better…according to both av-comparative and virus bulletin test…………
and y shoud I waste 100mb of more memory?

and no AV can be regarded as no 1…

I think kaspersky is better than avira, see matt’s video. Kaspersky is the best antivirus in the whole world.

I watched Mrizos Avast review B4 any other review!
Watched BOTH Avast reviews repeatedly. If U want to see Avast, Avira, etc reviews GO TO AV-Comparitives yourself and LOOK! Go to Avast’s website and see all their Awards from the various testing bodies. BTW, have YOU seen Mrizos reviews…ANY of them? He’s stated MANY TIMES that almost NONE of the AV’s that he’s tested has done well with ADWARE. Adware was where Avast was weak in his reviews. JUST LIKE ALMOST ALL THE REST! WAKE UP!!

I think Can you send me link to any of the AV-Comparitives where Avast have that high detection rate? Did you watch Avast review on mrizos channel? No? Then see it and result and you’ll be suprised.

Funny how an AV that doesn’t have H.I.P.S. detected CONFICKER Zero Hour, the DAY it debuted, BEFORE any other AV did. Strange how AV-Comparitives Year after Year ranks Avast at a 98 to 99% detection rate. Funny how Avast’s Generic Signatures can identify Malware, new or old, in a manner similar to, but not the same as Heuristics. The bottom line is Avast does what works for the customer.
And it’s working WELL! Independent testing bodies Consistently rate Avast in the Top 3 all the time. Peace.

THANkx mate..well am using avira premium now… strongest database..its webshiled so strong i never found in other AV..u r right..avast sometime fails….but I am sure avira may detect some false positives(mainly not necessary tracking cookies) but will not allow single virus..

so does kaspersky. avast is too old, it relys on signatures too much nowadays. It used to be the best thing back in the old days but now malware have gotten a lot smarter. The new avast (version 5) looks pretty neat though

I think I don’t feel i wasted money for Kaspersky. More – if I can choose between free Avast and payable Kaspersky – I’d choose Kaspersky no matter what. But if somebody don’t have money they must choose Avast or Avira becouse these are the best free AVs you can get.

I think avast also have web security thus called web shiled actually it has 8 type of shield including residencial shield..that means the scanning of ur files are on going even if u dont scan manually..well no antivirus made yet can completely remove all trojans….so some antimalware(thats also free for on demand scan)requires.

so when it comes Q-n of paying paying ur hard earned money y waste untill one can get best security (at least better than other)for free?thank you

I think Boot time scan? Kaspersky can easily delete viruses even without restart and if he can not handle it now it can restart and threats are gone. p2p shield? Kaspersky have Web Security and attack blocker modules. Avira and Avast are just signature based AVs – they don’t have something like HIPS – detecting threats based on behaviour. Thank you.

I think btw avast has p2p shield+boot time scan which kaspersky dont have

kaspersky/kis has good firewall but all total it slows down surfing speed.I have tried like 1 dozen AV-s..and tested like this video’s uploader did..though everyone has own choice!

You don’t know what your’re saying. I’m guessing that you NEVER used Kaspersky… Avast is good BECOUSE it’s free and if you’d have some money for Kaspersky then you’d change your mind.

well when i said most powerful i didn’t mean like server powerful i ment just slightly more powerful therefore uses more resources since it has 8 realtime scanners and the others have 4 or 5
