I agree. The character, Edward Cullen, in Twilight is from the WWI era. The author did do research into time periods, names that were popular during the early 20th century, and music they may have been exposed to. More than that, the character is over 100 years old and he doesn’t sleep. So, he has had time to learn music, get 2 medical degrees, complete high school several times, etc. So, the story is very interesting, which contains an epic romance. I’m a grown woman that loves the saga.
The first time I heard this song was in a movie called, “Frankie and Johnny,” with Al Pacino and Michelle Pfeiffer. So, it’s been used on a lot of soundtracks for movies. It is beautiful!
