A pioneering technology that makes the impossible possible: edit individual notes within chords and polyphonic audio material! Yes, audio, not MIDI. The makers of Melodyne did it again … www.celemony.com See also this interview with Peter Neubaecker: www.youtube.com … Melodyne Direct Note Access audio software autotune recording studio technology vocals pitchshifting timestretching

This is bollox,i bought it the other day!its funny they only show demos of the purest recorded pianos and guitars, trust me who has a sample collection purely consisting of that!the layout is horrible the scroll system is annoying, and even if you do know music put anything in it that isnt diamond clean the time you took to edit you couldve learnt to play the bloody instrument!Id lie to see a demo of them anaylising some distortion guitar!I had a headache with 3 chords!Dont believe the hype!
Yes I did. In fact, I own this software. Unfortunately, while Melodyne is capable of picking apart polyphonic recordings, it can’t handle tracks with multiple instruments. Trust me, I’ve tried.
I think did you watch the video dude?????
I think No. Melodyne needs separate audio tracks for each instrument.
Could this work on regular, multi-instrument MP3s? Like could I open up an MP3 of a rock song with bass, guitar, drums, and vocals and edit each note individually?
I wish I had it but the price is about 370 EU
yeah it´s i wish I had it
I think The audio editor like what Photoshop is to photography,
And every professional photographer Knows are important Photoshop is.
is this in melodyne studio v3.1.2 ?
it’s called melodyne editor. you can download a demo on celemony homepage, my friend
I think omg…wow
is this out now ?
I think we hate it because… well look at Miley Cyrus. money machine. its all bull crap for making money off of stupid people.. okay that was mean. people that don’t use their brains.. still mean.. people that don’t know what music is and think that catchy music requires talent rather than good music that may take time to understand and figure out what exactly is going on. just my opinion though.
ridiculous. no need for talent anymore
Fabtasticlybrilliuntlyfab
I think why do you all hate bout that? it’s a nice tool to correct the shit that I cry into my microphone.
You could go all GLaDOS on a guitar!
It was clear I was referring to modern mainstream music and not PRE COMPUTER MUSIC. It’s obvious they didnt use it because oh i dont kno…. computers were not even invented! Stop being an asshole
I think I listen to Count Basie, Duke Ellington, Charlie Parker, Herbie Hancock, Art Blakey . . . . These are from the 30s, 40s, 50s, 60s, and certainly do not have any kind of “correction.” I do not believe that any serious modern jazz recording uses such techniques, either, as jazz bands play live constantly (they of record multiple tracks so that the balance can be adjusted). Maybe think for you make narrow-minded statements?
It does. It’s like a godsend for audio editors.
WOW just WOW!!!!! I’ve dreamt that I can do this with vinyl samples for decades, Now I can!!!!
