Melodyne is fascinating audio software to tune your vocals (with more options and far more natural than Autotune), improve your timing, reshape your melodies and more. A brilliant tool and a real must-have! … Melodyne plug-in plugin Autotune vocals tuning recording studio audio software music Celemony

how do i change the folder path? i accidentally chose my desktop as its folder path and i dont know how to change it? any help plzz????
cool man, muy bonito e interesante.
They do – I use it
I think Hello, by chance you know if you have the Melodyne plugin for sonar?
I guess it should open any type of audio file,
mp3, wave etc.
I think What gives with all the negatives? Are we a bunch of cry babies, or do we seek to draw attention to ourselves to give dubious meaning to our lives? Why can’t you people just talk about the most challenging aspect of life: Hopefull positive, forward moving, problem-solving,
uplifting, smile-provoking, Happy-bound, and optimistic outlooking thoughts, instead of dread and doomsday gloom.
I believe that our kind create our OWN dispair. Only we can improve our lives, no matter how destitute we ar
I’ll choose to be a star any day. The musical part (background instrumentals, melodyne, and lyrics) is important. And the singer…I just want them to look good and dance good.
I think what song files does this open? please answer asap
I think get over it, the music business is screwed anyway…people dont buy CD’s anymore…but this program isnt going to really help you sing properly at a gig which is where muso’s make their money
I think If you wanna be a good singer….work harder. If you wanna be star(jerk) use tecnologies
I’ve gotta get me one of those….
perftect program, yup, less takes on studio time:)
riiight just like the internet is “good for music”…sure your average joe can now get heard worldwide and doesn’t need a major label, but the music is getting SHITTIER and SHITTIER. So yea, I dont know if Id say its “good for music” it is pretty cool though, regardless of what it does for the music biz
I think The program isn’t that powerful.
Many bands sucked live, way before Melodyne existed. They drink, run around, get nervous, took 200 takes to nail a solo, singers throat is burnt out from touring too much.
T-Pain would probably eat the blobs instead of messing with em.
This ish is serious…. “I love the bar teeeender!! OHHHH SHE’s LOOKIN AT MEEEEiiII!”
I think Hey this thing is pretty cool plus you can use it to have those vocal effects where it sounds like there is no bending in pitch change. (They do it in Buy you a drank and in some other songs too.”
Since this is a plug-in, you usually insert it in single tracks of your song. You can open multiple instances, though, so you could basically tweak all tracks simultaneously. If you want to tune and stretch a full mix, you need the large version (Melodyne studio), because it is the only Melodyne version that has a special algorithm for polyphonic material (i.e. chords).
I think on what type of files does it work?
on the mix?
or track by track?
This is great for music you idiots. This is the beginning of the downfall of the major record labels. Independent artists will be able to sound completley professional now and the monopoly will fall.
Granted there ARE people out here who will use this on everything, and those are the people who use it for evil. But otherwise, this is a great piece of gear for someone to use to be able to save something awesome. You’ll never be able to sing or play something the EXACT same way as you did before, you only get one shot. THIS thing here could be the thing that gets you a platinum record.
Shazaam!

I’m a Recording Engineer, and Melodyne 3.1 is in my arsenal of weaponry. It shouldn’t be looked at so negatively either. Put yourself in these shoes: Your record label is spending up to $20,000 each time you go into the studio. You just NAILED a really solid vocal, except there’s this one spot in the middle that just isn’t right. Well instead of RE-recording, you can save the entire vocal track with this software.
fair points, but i think some people will take advantage of it abit too much, i hate bands that suck live cos of programs like this making them sound fantastic in the studio
you cant just record a wheezing beast and make them sound perfect, they have to have some talent in them anyway, i dont think this program will do miracles, it just cleans it up abit, what everyone does
hmm, i see some of your points, but 100 takes at least shows the singer put effort into getting the song great, rather than giving it a poor effort and just correcting it str8 off..what talent does that show really? it should only be used to a minimal, just to put the practically perfect take 100% perfect
