		<description>I would say that your best bet is going to be Audacity.  It&#039;s FREE, it&#039;s powerful, and there are a bunch of people that use it and create great music. 

Another option is that, if and when you decide to upgrade from a USB microphone, almost all digital audio interfaces come with lite versions of major recording software.  There are all fully capable of recording rap tracks.

		<description>Fl Studio is great for doing beats. The Producer Edition and XXL versions also have audio recording but to get the best result you will also need a good soundcard (ASIO support, or least use ASIO4ALL).
